A Dot has its own cloud computer

OpenAI describes Dots as agents for ongoing responsibilities, with their own cloud computers. Its documentation says the cloud browser is separate from your device and does not inherit your personal browser's tabs, extensions, cookies, passwords, or sign-ins. You can use authenticated sites in that browser through its own sessions.

OpenAI also documents optional personal-computer access. That is a separate capability from a Browser f6n connection; it does not itself establish access through this extension.

The daily brief needs your working records

Imagine you want a quick view of one customer's open issues before starting the day. Public company news is useful background, but it does not tell you that a support response is pending or a project deadline needs confirming.

Give the agent the account and a useful time period, then ask it to navigate to the records and prepare the answer:

YOUR REQUEST
“Review this customer's account portal and recent support cases from the last three days. Prepare a short brief with unresolved issues, upcoming dates, and anything waiting on our team. Include links, explain what you reviewed, and draft the most useful next follow-up. Do not send messages or change records.”

An illustrative answer might say:

ILLUSTRATIVE ANSWER · FICTIONAL DETAILS

Today's account brief

One case is awaiting a response from our team. The project update shows a milestone this week, but no confirmed handoff date.

Ask the owner to confirm that date before giving the customer a timeline. A draft follow-up and links to the reviewed records are included.

Sources: recent support case · project update · account portal

The value is a concise picture of the work, grounded in the records that belong to the account. Repeating this task can help, but each review still depends on current access and what the pages show.

Your chosen agent, across signed-in websites

Browser f6n connects an agent to the Chrome profile you already use. It can work through available account sessions and bring details from relevant sites into one answer, without asking you to copy every page into chat or send website passwords to recreate sign-ins elsewhere.

Some account systems have their own assistants. This connection is useful when you want your chosen agent to work toward one goal across those pages, including a portal without its own agent tools.

Hand setup to the agent, then give it the goal

Install Browser f6n in Chrome, sign into the extension, and wait for Connected. Share the popup prompt:

THE EXTENSION'S SETUP PROMPT
“Read https://browser.f6n.run/connect.md and help me connect to my local browser.”

The agent handles connection steps and guides you through approval with the same Browser f6n account. Then ask for a bounded account review.
